ORIGIN STORY

I fell in love with design as teenage muralist (read graffiti artist).

In my 20s, I studied design in art school and worked my first design jobs. But I returned for an MFA in Transdisciplinary Design to dive deeper into research and strategy.

Learning new methods for a uncovering empathy-based insights was a turning point.

Design had always resonated with my thoughts and through my eyes, but now it flowed from my heart.

From 2011 through 2018, I worked as Senior Designer and Design Director at Volume Inc. where I crafted insights-driven strategies, user-centered experiences, and brand identity systems.
